For data protection reasons, no personal data is initially passed on to the social network when you visit our website. The plug-in is only activated after you have given your consent, and only then direct contact between your browser and the social network is possible. In this way we prevent data from being transmitted to the network and stored there without your knowledge. If you have given your consent, your data will be processed as follows:
Facebook receives the information that you have accessed the corresponding subpage of our online offer. This happens regardless of whether you have a Facebook account and are logged in there. If you are logged into Facebook, this data will be assigned directly to your account. If you operate the activated plug-in and e.g. if you link the page, Facebook also stores this information, including the date and time, in your user account and shares this publicly with your contacts. If you do not wish to be assigned to your profile on Facebook, you must log out before activating the plug-in.
Facebook saves this data as a user profile and uses it for advertising, market research and / or needs-based design of its website. Such an evaluation takes place in particular (also for users who are not logged in) to display needs-based advertising and to inform other users of the social network about your activities on our website.
The data arising in this context can be transferred from Facebook to a server in the USA and stored there. With respect to transfers of personal data to the USA, or other countries, if any, which according to the European Commission, do not offer an adequate level of protection, suitable safeguards or instruments for protecting data subjects have been implemented.
In addition to withdrawing your consent, as a Facebook member you also have the option of deactivating advertising based on social actions in the advertising preferences.
You can find more information on this in Facebook's data protection information.

This data is visible to Internet users that are not members of our Site or are not signed into our Site. Please note that this only applies to overview pages - the profile itself is not accessible by search engines.
The legal basis for processing is Article 6, Paragraph 1 (a) of the GDPR, based on your consent you gave us during the enrollment in increasing chances to find suitable matches outside of our platform and direct Internet users to our Site which may result in memberships. This feature is not necessary for the use of the Site. You can disable public visibility of your information in the overview pages through your privacy settings and preferences on the Site under Settings / Messaging and security. Please note that it may take a few hours or days for the search engines to process this change on their sites. We cannot influence the timeframe when search engines initiate scans to process changes. Alternatively, you can contact the search engine provider directly and ask for removal of your data.
